Wonderful Wednesdays are set to start in Oakland again this year on June 18^th and running through until August 28.  “This annual event brings out many people to Downtown because it is one of those days people are looking for something to do and what better place but to come to Downtown Oakland and spend the day shopping and dining” said Jack Cougle, the Oakland Main Street Manager. 

The weekly event will feature many shopping and dining specials offered by local businesses every Wednesday of the event, Pleasant Valley Dream Rides carriage rides, a schedule of artisans at The Gallery, and the Farm Fresh Market from 10 AM– 1 PM. “On various Wednesdays there will be other things going on like Tai Chi, possibly area upstart musicians, guest speakers, the artist at The Gallery, and health checks just to name a few” said Cougle.
